Jock Norton//Puppy

I went straight in to ask about their upcoming tour opening for Creeper soon and how excited they must be for it and Jock said they "can't wait" and said how it's only their second tour as a band and will be their first in Europe! He then joked about how he and Will (from Creeper) have preordered the Nintendo Switch so all t...hey gang can play the new Zelda game in between gigging to pass the time.
I then ask about their slot at Handmade festival to which he revealed that Puppy have been writing lots more new music recently so fingers crossed some might be ready to play by then.
Carrying on with the gigging side of things I questioned the fact they haven't played a headline show since October last year so asked whether we'd see them headline anything soon so he explained that because they're still a fairly new band in the scheme of things so has doubts for anything too soon but went on to say "When we do go out and do it, we want to do it right" and that "When the demand is there, we'll pull something together".
Then I wanted to move away for the live stuff and take about the studio work, saying how they've got a fair few track behind them but no debut album yet! "Yeah we noticed!" He started with, then revealed that they've got a lot of stuff written down which they're itching to get out "in some form or another" soon, saying that hopefully they'll be dropping some info on that side of things soon.
And in true fashion I kept the last question totally random which was what would Puppy's perfect Festival be: bands and name? And in true memelord style he said it would be called 'Memefest' and ever band there would have to wear trilby hats and vendetta masks "like top memers", he then joked how the band wouldn't bother player but instead would just "get drunk and enjoy the music" and finished by saying every performer there would be anonymous and do cover sets so all the punters would have to guess who's who.
Puppy open the bill for Creepers tour with Milk Teeth and Energy and also play Handmade fest up north, they also have just been announced for Reading and Leeds festival, tickets for all on sale now.
